Holiday Inn - Columbia Riverfront
909 N Hayden Island Dr
Portland, OR 97217
Beachcomber Bash is a weekend celebration of friendship, family, and the relaxed lifestyle of the Beachcomber.
The new event location is the beautiful Holiday Inn- Columbia Riverfront adjacent to Jantzen Beach in Portland, Oregon. The Pacific Northwest is the perfect place for that exotic escape, have a drink, and enjoy each others' company.
The main event will take place at the Holiday Inn- Columbia Riverfront, with many of our Beachcombers staying on property to keep the party going all weekend long.
This new location is conveniently located about 10 miles from the Portland International Airport and all of Portland's and Vancouver's finest tiki bars!
Beachcomber Bash was saddened to learn that Tiki Kon, the long-standing event celebrating exotic tropical destinations and the Tiki bars, cocktails, art, music and fashions which they inspired, took its Final Voyage in 2023. It is our hope that we can continue in the footsteps of this amazing event. So come soak up the atmosphere of island living and have fun while creating life-long memories!
We're planning for a full weekend of fun. There will be educational classes of course, from the Pacific Coasts Polynesian influence in architecture, textiles, and lifestyle to designing and accenting your own home escape from the cool rainy winters.
We will relax in our festive aloha wear and sip cocktails together while listening to live bands, you can even kick your heels up and dance the night away!
There will be an opportunity to take home new treasures from our vendors at the indoor market place, an Art Show, and a Silent Auction which benefits a selected charity.
For those deluxe ticket holders, we're planning a dinner with some extra special fun on Saturday night.
It is our goal to immerse you in the escapist Polynesian Pop world and stimulate all your senses while on this weekend journey!

We acknowledge that Portland rests on the traditional village sites of the Multnomah, Kathlamet, Clackamas, Tualatin, Kalapuya, Molalla, bands of the Chinook, and many other Tribes who made their homes along the Columbia River. Multnomah is a band of Chinooks that lived in this area.

Brian and Holly are travelers who have had the pleasure of experiencing many tiki weekender type events across the country. We enjoy the escapism of tropical vibes and that mid-century modern feel. It is our hope to recreate that type of event here in the wonderful PNW!
