Crazy cool carvings from the Pacific Northwest!
Chris Young is the amazing artist behind Frog Island Tikis. Chris’s journey into tiki carving began over 20 years after a trip to Maui. Chris’s works are inspired by Polynesian culture, but rather than follow traditional ways, Chris puts his own rather twisted view on the matter and builds each tiki with a protective edge to watch over the owner's well-being.
Most of the carvings are made out of redwood or cedar. Chris starts his carvings with a chainsaw and then adds those fine details with chisels, files, and knives to make his carvings pop. Each piece he creates carries his distinctive style and is truly a work of art!

Erick Guzowsky is the artist behind FirstManJewelry, a brand created with the purpose of reviving native traditional-inspired designs while maintaining a commitment to sustainability—and enjoying the creative journey along the way.
Before launching FirstManJewelry, Erick spent years working in the IT field while pursuing jewelry making as a side passion. During the pandemic, he decided to shift his focus fully toward his craft. Together with his wife Erin, who also shares a deep love for creating, Erick designs pieces that complement not just each other’s work, but more importantly, the individuals who wear them. Their work spans a variety of mediums, including glass, wood, bone, acrylic, polymer clay, metals, gemstones, and wire.
Each handcrafted piece from FirstManJewelry is made with heartfelt care, carrying a personal significance that shines through when others wear and appreciate the designs. While the brand’s core focus is on island-inspired and sustainable jewelry, it also offers trendy accessories and a variety of other handcrafted items. Erick draws continuous inspiration from music, travel, friends, and customers, ensuring that the collection is always evolving with fresh and meaningful additions.

Cassera Galleries operates online and in four physical locations in NYC, Vancouver B.C., Stanwood, WA and LaConner, WA aka the La Conner Tiki Lounge.
Owner Dave Cassera is known internationally as an expert in the traditional arts of Africa, Oceania and the Americas. David has continued with his father's fine art and design legacy with an additional focus on 'Primitivism'. 'Primitivism' is a Western art movement that borrows visual forms from non-Western or indigenous peoples, such as Picasso's embrace of African and Oceanic sculpture during the dawn of Cubism. Cassera utilizes his inherent design talent in juxtaposition with his vast knowledge of ancient cultures to emphasize how borrowings from 'Primitive Art' has been important to the development of modern and contemporary art.
