The Hula Girls, self-proclaimed Kings of Hulabilly, are well known for their up-tempo hapa haole, tiki, and surf themed music, all filtered through the late 1950’s and early 60’s rockabilly and rock n’ roll sound with Bobby banging those drums, Randy thumping the bass, Mr. Shorty Poole rocking the guitar and steel guitar, and Mr. Spike Marble himself delighting us with those sweet vocals and smooth guitar sounds. And let’s not forget about those hip swaying hula-a-go-go dancers!

1940's-1960's Cocktail/Lounge/Tropical/Escapist/South Seas
“Cap’n” Cook has commandeered a combo of old pals from Seattle bands The Ukadelics and Lushy for an exotic adventure into the boozy waters of vintage south seas tunes and exotica lounge. A jigger of jazz, a splash of the tropics, a dash of humor all shaken together with classic stylings. The band name is curtesy of tiki cocktail pioneer Harry Yee who mixed the first Tropical Itch near Waikiki beach in 1957. When you need to escape the ordinary, this music is like a trip to the place we all really wish we were soaking up the sun, surf and sand.

Instrumental Surf Rock
The Verbtones started rocking the Pacific Northwest way back in 2001 near the icy, shark-infested waves of the Oregon Coast. There in the shadows of Mount St. Helens to this day, The Verbtones continue to reverberate surf sounds of a bygone era to please ears and dancing feet. So prepare to A-Go-Go to the sounds of The Verbtones 1960's surf waves!

The Cosmic Wrays are a Surf and Tiki band from Everett, WA and have played all over Seattle for the past 7 years. This fabulous combo has a groovy surf a go-go sound fueled by twangy guitar and vintage organ, backed by an unrelenting rhythm section. The Cosmic Wrays play original surf and tiki songs, while peppering in a Link Wray song or two to keep his music alive! The result is a sound that is influenced by the early 60's surf sound, but with a bit of a sci-fi influence as well.
The Cosmic Wrays will play a surf set on Friday night and a Tiki set on Saturday, although it’s rumored there may be a bit of a mix both nights.

In 1985 Lita added dance instruction out of her desire to teach her daughter the art of hula. Since then, Sunshine from Polynesia has evolved into a halau (dance school) where students from 3 years of age and up can learn.
